 Reavis High School Class of 1970 - Latest News 11-21-2008 - Scholarship Donation I just thought you should know. You had some wonderful people help put your last reunion together. It is a very difficult task to try and find as many people as possible, send out mailings, send out e-mails, finding a place to have the reunion, and all those little things that go into planning the event. Not to forget, the many hours these people invest in your reunion. When all was said and done, all the money was paid out, and it was time to reimburse the reunion committee for the money they paid out of their own pockets for such items as stamps, paper, envelopes, postcards, printings, and the like. But they all decided to donate any money left to Reavis High School Scholarship, and not to be reimbursed for the money they spent. This scholarship idea came from something that one of our fellow classmates has done every year for several years. (Thanks Mike) In addition, the reunion committee also paid to attend the reunion that they worked so hard to put together. Your Reunion Committee sent nearly $800 to Reavis High School to be used in a scholarship donated by the Class of 1970. I would like to thank them again! Thanks Susan, Kathy, Donna, Bob, and Gary.
